**This blog is Deprecated and is no longer updated** Not just a weight loss blog!! The Times and Trials (and ramblings) of a fat, divorced Daddy of two, trying to keep it together, lose weight and make a living. P.S. This is an outpouring of my thoughts, so grammar and punctuation take a back seat to that. You have been warned!!!
Congrats!
ReplyDelete9lb loss WOW, that's good going! congratulations.
ReplyDeleteJust remember not to weigh yourself too often, we fluctuate weight-wise, & often at a creeping pace, though that's healthy!
try the "phonebook" calf raise to build up your sttamina for general repetitions mindset if you are not doing any excercise at the gym currently, a doorframe is a pre-requisite just to steady yourself.
(I find myself doing this 20+ yrs later whilst standing in the playground waiting for my daughter to come out of school!
Just a thought, ..if you've lost 9 lbs over recent weeks, then if you are say trying to lose say 140lbs then you are almost 10% of an overall target (if we look at each 10% being 1 x stone) ..& 1 STONE WEIGHTLOSS IS NOT TO BE SNIFFED AT!
ReplyDeleteYour body must be getting ready to adapt without going into starvation mode, (ie brakes on) ...this is good!
So whilst any loss is good, aim for set weight goal markers! ..this is precisely how I learnt stamina in running, when knackered i'd look a few lampposts furhter down the street & keep plugging & possibly extending, (babysteps).
Kept me going.
Deciding to lose weight now, whilst young will really help keep nasty crap that hits you in later life away, such as type 2 diabetes,... so many things to pin as goals, all which can be attainable & thereafter controllable.
Great water intake where you have been filling in your food & exercise chart, however we have 2 blank days, ..get on it RJ!
