It'll never be good enough....

I updated my food diary, i was a little behind in syncing my diary to myfitnesspal.

However, I have a reader that bitches when I don't update my journal, he bitches when i do update it because its not how he thinks it should look. He bitches because he cant click a link on the left hand side of my food diary to see my exercise diary, and then makes comments.

To that reader, and you know who you are, If you are going to be so difficult about EVERYTHING, just move on and stop reading my blog. Im tired of waking up to comments from you where you have nothing nice to say EVER.

I am being completely honest on my food log, and I know that I dont eat healthy right now, but as I stated before I am waiting for my blood test results to come back so my doctor can give me a diet plan.

I hate to be so crass, but I didnt start this blog for you, and frankly, Im tired of moderating your comments.

If you want to do it "right" start your own blog.

Maybe now I can get back to doing things how i want without having to worry about what you will say.

  2. GUS ..LAST word!(I guess i'm allowed an unpublished reply)
RJ, If you don't fill in your food diary every day then you are not filling it in at all, it's that simple if you want to lose weight you have to spend time following up what you have signed up to.
& if someone clicks a link that is mainly empty pages then it's not really a link but an empty page.

I'm not bitching, I am chasing your tail to hopefully keep you going & put away a pack of chips (SIC) & look at your progress!

You DO NOT need 100% laid down by doctors dietary food plan, to make healthy choices, All diets need will power, commitment & swapping bad fat loaded food with healthier options.

Geez If I didn't care then I wouldn't write what I have, this isn't a game of poke the fat guy, it seems that you are on your own, have motivation issues, ..like everyone & fall off the treadmill, just because you are waiting for results it doesn't mean you stop or slow down with weightloss it means you work around it, just like running (one more lamp-posts distance, block or whatever).

You won't get in the right mindset & get stronger if you don't get tough on yourself & try to work round injuries etc.

Your doctor, like any doctor will say, take exercise , eat less junk, & give you a generic diet plan... that won't have many if any "treats" or fast food meals on it, & your body like it has previously, when it purged a good amount of grease, you went out & ate & were really ill, well your body will go through an element of cold turkey again, therefore cutting down & out as much fast & processed food is mandatory in any diet attempt.

I suggested (not demanded) you show us your fridge contents to get you to look & possibly grab a good meal that would help you & perhaps involve your kids on this "journey" as well as knocking down a a few hundred calories over a day, which eventually = LBS.

But fine it is YOUR life, & ongoing mobility & health problems etc.
As someone who knows the weight struggle your mindset & readiness to adjust is the first step, without it you are well & truly f___ed!
I'm trying to gee you up to not be one of the f___ed, ill & possibly dead.

If you were at a gym, they'd yell to go for one more, rep... it's doing that at a distance!

who is actually motivating you in real life nowadays to stick with it? because you don't need soft soap, you need a target & people to get you moving to the target even when it's not something you wish to hear!

I have a neighbour just like you who I found slashing his wrists committing suicide
after his wife left him, (involved getting him into psych care too) ..he's now around 10 stones lighter having got tough & changed his foods dropping the booze.

Trust me I don't write stuff to hurt you, having been there myself & still staying on the right side of food, yes with medical & mobility problems too, try being stuck in a house for 3 years (I WAS) & was told if I walked too fast "it could kill me" ..brain injury, I worked round it & into my new life.

Every step I have walked myself.

you made your details public, therefore expect a critique from people that take a genuine interest.
Goodbye & good luck ..you will need more than luck.

  3. I hope you entirely & completely block the commenter above. I'd consider reading that detrimental to my health. Wouldn't want it on any blog of mine. There is a component to dieting and weight loss that you could call mental hygiene; you've got to protect your outlook and state of mind. Not just for dieting -- but for parenting.

This is a nice humorous blog and I wish you all the best. I'm planning to start a page relating to ExerciseForWeightLoss.com and I want to use it to help myself as well. So good luck to a fellow dieter (And please don't make me worry by not using your CPAP device) . Sincerely, maus
