Bigger Fatter Loser

     I went to fitness boot camp today and got weighed and measured. I'm upset, and yet somehow not surprised to report that I now weight 371 lbs. I'm not going to let it get me down though. I know part of the reason is me not working, and sitting around the house too much. Also the fact that I went 3 weeks without dieting while quitting my paxil.
    My first day of fitness boot camp starts tomorrow, and I'm ready. I have a feeling that the deal me and Cornelius is working out is going to a life changer. I'm not entirely positive at this point, but I believe that my program is going to include the meal plan. That means, not having to worry about counting every calorie. Just stick to my meal plan, and I'll be good to go. He told me a success story today about a guy that weighed 400 lbs and did his program with great success. He started in January and has lost 50 lbs since then.
     Cornelius says that we will work out a meal plan and weight loss goal tomorrow, so I will update you guys when I talk to him.

  1. You are wrong about getting complacent regarding calories, as you are not going to be on his diet plan for life! ..you must look at every food as to benefits & pitfalls, as well as improving your crappy almost seemingly vegetable free diet!

    When I see your fast food outlet intake I just get sickened, it may be habit, it may be laziness, poor diet from youth I don't know unless you tell folk, however I can tell you succinctly I only eat the equivilent of 3 Macdonalds cheeseburgers & one regular fries per year, as I'm aware of how damn bad that shit is for my insides & everyone elses, not to mention all the sweeteners, low quality oils & garbage that go's with that way of eating!

    What about trans-fats?

    Ask if places you & your family are eating use this junk, then consider eating elsewhere!

    RJ when yuo put so few calories for a 2/3lb burger is that low fat minced beef / reg beef etc, what else is going on with the burger, is it nude, dollps of mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise etc? as all those are heavily geared towards sugar& fat, i'd have a hard time making a burger with so few calories as you put on your food sheet a while back!.

    So what is with the veg, lack of exactly, your body cannot perform without & it affects your whole being, as does milk etc, you've got to look at your whole body & exo-skeleton not just your "gut"!
    Dieting is a whole of body thing, change mindset as well as size.
    I'd hope to see you making a decent tuna mayo or similar salad / homemade sandwiches, days with proper diet days, ie non freezer, microwave meals, porridge, omlette, etc that you make yourself, without at least one visit to a fast food joint, for something quick & tasty, but ultimately "devoid" of any thing good.
    Jeez old son, if you are going to eat crap, have some form of balance whereby in the same meal you eat a decent amount of simple veg, smaller sweter produce that isn't simply forced to grow for size & convenience, a decent pepperoni to thinly slice & actually taste proper flavour on a pizza with a decent cheese blend, compared to a bland tasteless packet of "gunk"
    A homemade dish of spinach & ricotta cheese on a large crispy baked potato...

    ditch the junk,involve the family, teach your kids to cook & appreciate food rather than stop & pick it up whilst (possibly) never even leaving the confines of your car!

    treat decent food as a reward for your efforts in cutting out the junk, it'll pay dividends in lots of ways.

    do you have a fishmonger near you?
    have you tried small tins of smoked mackerel fillets or similar? (oily fish snacks) good for your whole body, sardines? ..brain & body food.


    Tell us about the veg please! & ban that out of house Junk food!

  2. Forgot to say, SURIMI, fish-sticks, crabsticks etc, from the chiller cabinet, different brands have different levels of flavour, however tasty sweet snack without any sin! ..try keeping some nearby for a "snacky" moment.
